This past Wednesday was the presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, many issues were covered, one of them being the controversy with radical groups. When asked to condemn white supremacy groups, specifically Proud Boys, Trump says, "Proud Boys -- stand back and stand by. But I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. Somebody's got to do something about Antifa and the left because this is not a right wing problem." Trump immediately diverted to conversation to Antifa because he wanted to avoid condemning white supremacy groups like Proud Boys. The Proud Boys are an all male white nationalist, neo-fascist organization that are know for causing political violence and hating on POC, Muslims, and women. Trump did not at all publicly disapprove of this awful group he said, "stand back and stand by." What is that even supposed to mean? Is he so afraid of losing voters that he won't criticize an organization based on bigotry and violence in front of an audience? This act was absolutely disgraceful and unacceptable. Let's vote Trump out this November.
